Having no where left to vent...

Don't want to overbear friends with my mundane problems and this is still a journal...that I've neglected for...a while.

Basically feelings suck right now. People like to say move on, I mean its obviously the best course of action but also the least realistic in my opinion. Even though he wasn't perfect and he probably is over it I still don't want to give up...

I Hate Ryan Gosling

Overrated fuck.

HAD to get that off my chest. I get he's a good actor but I've seen him everywhere so much his face is frankly starting to look funny to me. And people need to stop acting like everything he does is fucking golden.

Like this tumblr called feminist Ryan Gosling, like it's feminist quotes but he didn't even say them, it's just his pictures. But where is this coming from? He's never outwardly say he's a feminist or anything. He's getting recognition for things he didn't even do. This is ridiculous.

My first gifs~

I was bored and thought this might come in handy...I can't think of a single situation where that would be handy for but uh...

Anyways I used this tutorial http://jericapng.livejournal.com/14025.html and it's pretty easy to follow and good for making gifs from videos.

So yea...
I'll wait for you...(I’m tired of all your friends, knocking down your door..Get up in the morning, give it your all!)

Oh holy shit I still remember how to html a lj-cut!

Everyday I'm Tumbling

Well first of all thanks to those who wished me happy birthday <3! Haven't really posted much on the old livejournal lately.

I've been tumbling a lot though so anyone have one of those? We should follow each other! Although I just mostly post about food or rant about men...yes I'm one of those people.

One thing I hate about tumblr is lack of comment options wtf, how can I complain to the person directly otherwise?!

Mississippi Personhood Amendment

Okay, so I don't usually do this, but this is an issue near and dear to me and this is getting very little no attention in the mainstream media.

Mississippi is voting on November 8th on whether to pass Amendment 26, the "Personhood Amendment". This amendment would grant fertilized eggs and fetuses personhood status.

Putting aside the contentious issue of abortion, this would effectively outlaw birth control and criminalize women who have miscarriages. This is not a good thing.

Jackson Women's Health Organization is the only place women can get abortions in the entire state, and they are trying to launch a grassroots movement against this amendment. This doesn't just apply to Mississippi, though, as Personhood USA, the group that introduced this amendment, is trying to introduce identical amendments in all 50 states.

What's more, in Mississippi, this amendment is expected to pass. It even has Mississippi Democrats, including the Attorney General, Jim Hood, backing it.

The reason I'm posting this here is because I made a meager donation to the Jackson Women's Health Organization this morning, and I received a personal email back hours later - on a Sunday - thanking me and noting that I'm one of the first "outside" people to contribute.

So if you sometimes pass on political action because you figure that enough other people will do something to make a difference, make an exception on this one. My RSS reader is near silent on this amendment. I only found out about it through a feminist blog. The mainstream media is not reporting on it.

If there is ever a time to donate or send a letter in protest, this would be it.

What to do?

- Read up on it. Wake Up, Mississippi is the home of the grassroots effort to fight this amendment. Daily Kos also has a thorough story on it.

- If you can afford it, you can donate at the site's link.

- You can contact the Democratic National Committee to see why more of our representatives aren't speaking out against this.

- Like this Facebook page to help spread awareness.

Annyoung Ha Saeyo~

Or something like that. Just finished a part of my airplane ride, 13 fucking hours!!! Of pain and insomnia....

Took Korean Airlines, seats were cramped, food was barely edible, felt like dying...you know the usual. And now I have a six hour layover at Incheon Airport. At least the airport is nice which leads me to...

I'm going to squeal about how nice it is. Don't want to sound like a country bumpkin but it's just Toronto airport is terrible, TERRIBLE and suddenly seeing an airport with...THINGS is like heaven, especially the hellish flight. So it's basically like a mall, a very expensive mall so for window shopping only but seriously so much things to look at. There's quite a few food options which are a bit expensive in comparison so in other words, the standard Toronto pricing. What I really like is that they offer you stuff to do. Besides the obvious of free internet (which I'm using to post this), like there's a Korean culture centre that showcases their...culture, it's a small space but there are tutorials on how to make these little crafts that take up some time. There's also a spa that offers a variety of massages and manicures. There is a technology area (their words) which is just small couple booths where they are showing some movies and you watch them, kinda like a very un-private dvd bang. Also they have comfy chairs all around the airport.

And I just finished using their shower facilities. And I know you're probably thinking it's those kinda grimey looking YMCA ones (not that YMCA is dirty just it looks drabby and you know so many people have been there) but it actually look like hotel bathrooms! And after a long flight you just want to like bath under their monolithic shower heads, it's like standing under a light waterfall (cause the big ones will break your bones in reality). So yea that was great.

Well that's pretty much it, just that if this airport is representative of Seoul than woooot.

Charlie Sheen is Not a Winner

I hate Charlie Sheen. And to be honest if you don't there might be something wrong with you. That man beat up every woman he ever been with and shot one in the fucking arm. He don't gives a shit about women and have no remorse about his shitty...everything. And excluding that he's on Two and a Half Men, I could have begin with that and that should be enough to know why anyone should hate him.

So he has to go to rehab so normally, he would go down in flames (not that drug use is something worth persecution but I just want Charlie Sheen to go away and apparently in the eyes of people doing drugs is worse than hitting women) but noooooooooooooo every pays attention to him and then now they are quoting him, he's having more attention then ever and it just makes me siiiiick.

I'll have Kingsley tell it like it issssssss.

Pleh ONTD decided to be extra misogynistic today. It feels way too terrible to be anything but a white straight cis male sometimes.

Like I'll use Justin Bieber vs. Miley Cyrus as an example. Justin Bieber said downright homophobic, misogynistic, racist, incredibly DUMB things and nothing. The most harsh comments he gets are he looks like a little girl (misogynistic), he looks gay (homophobic), or he looks like a lesbian (misogynistic AND homophobic).

But Miley Cyrus...oh no she took half naked pictures! What has this world come to! Hide yo daughters because like they'll do it the moment they see someone else do it! Not like there are millions of people chastising her or something.

Oh and Justin Bieber takes plenty of half nakes shots ON MAGAZINES! But that's fine just because men boobies are flat. Don't make it any less of a boob. Nothing even sexual about boobs in the first place it's a lump of flesh.

I'm going to go listen to Miley now.

I really love this song, yea she's dancing in a club so do many people, surprisingly, they do not sacrifice animalsssssss.
